Articulation is an important part of the Australian tertiary education system. Articulation means approved progression from one level of education (e.g. a Diploma) to another (e.g. a Bachelor) within the Australian Qualifications Framework. Articulation with credit means you are credited for your prior study – meaning you can enter your next course with advanced standing. In many cases, this means direct entry into Year 2 of the relevant Bachelor program.
EQC Institute’s ICT50220 Diploma of Information Technology qualifies for articulation with credit into a number of university Bachelor programs. This means our students can progress into approved programs, by entry into Year 2. See below for further information, sorted by state. Terms and conditions may apply at the relevant university and how to enquire with each university is listed below.
New South Wales

EQC Institute graduates are eligible for 70 units credit, or the equivalent of one year credit in either of the above courses.
Complete the application via the Direct Entry Portal. This has no fee and acknowledges your prior study. You will be required to apply first, and then seek credit.
When you seek credit, let the university officer know you are an EQC Institute (RTO # 45758) student or graduate of the ICT50220 Diploma of Information Technology seeking entry into the Bachelor of IT program with one year’s credit.

Western Australia

Graduates of EQC Institute’s Diploma of Information Technology qualify for direct entry into year 2 of the two Curtin University Bachelor programs as listed above.

Queensland
Griffith is a career focused university with a strong emphasis on social and environmental responsibility. Griffith offers a Bachelor of Information Technology both full time and part time at the Nathan and Gold Coast campuses, and online. Griffith consistently places in the top 2% of universities worldwide according to a series of prestigious ranking systems. In five of the largest and most credible world university rankings, Griffith is rated in the top 300.
Griffith University is currently assessing articulation pathways with credit and will be able to advise colleges in late July about formal arrangements. In the meanwhile, Griffith University has said it welcomes graduates from EQC Institute to contact them and request articulation into a Bachelor program at Griffith, and applications will be assessed on a case by case basis.

South Australia

UniSA offers a Bachelor of Information Technology on campus or online.
